Face Cleansing

So, a couple of months ago I decided to buy the Boots Tea Tree Witch  Hazel face wash and face scrub! And it is honestly one of the best things that I have ever brought! I first brought these back in July and have only just emptied out the bottle. So that meant that I needed a re-stock. And since the bottle was full, I thought that it was the best chance to grab some blog photo opportunities off them!

Anyway, I first heard about these on YouTube. I first heard them from Lucy & Lydia. And then a few days later, I then saw Emily Canham mention them in one of her vlogs!

Because the formula of this product is a jelly, it is super soft on the skin, and you always feel like you face is really clean afterwards! And also, because this product is a Tea Tree product it helps reduce spots and leaves the skin shine free! Also, again, like I mentioned earlier, the product literally lasts forever, as you only need a pea sized amount! And it also smells amazing, as it has extracts of Berry!

These amazing face washes are on offer for three for two at the moment in boots, and in order to take advantage of that, I got the Black Charcoal Face Mask which was free!

Bring Highlight To Your Day

On my last visit to Brighton with my sister, Amelia. We decided to have a look and browse the make up counters in Boots. As some of you may know, I'm a bit of a make up addict and I literally screamed when I saw this beautiful highlight Palette on the Sleek counter!

I remember seeing this highlight Palette all over Instagram and instantly knew that I needed it! Ever since then it has been part of my everyday make up routine!

As you can see this palette contains four shades. The top left corner, ("Ecliptic") and the bottom left, ("Subsolar")  look quite creamy and are absolutely amazing for highlighting the tip of your nose. The top right shade, ("Hemisphere") and the bottom left, (Equinox") are much more shimmery compared to the two, but are both my favourite as they give you the most amazing glow on top of your cheekbones and as well as the tip of your nose!

As well as this it also comes with a little brush, that is actually really, really good! And the mirror is also an amazing thing to have if you are needing to update throughout the day!

Broyle Place

Today my Dad and I visited Broyle Place to attend their annual wedding fayre! And so since we were going I thought it would be a great idea to create a blog post to show how beautiful Broyle Place actually is!

So above there some photographs that show what amazing Broyle Place is and what they have to offer!

The first thing you have when you enter Broyle Place is a long driveway of trees, with a long beautiful lake either side of it! With a little wooden sort of Gazebo which is where they hold many of their wedding ceremonies! (Which as you can imagine, is absolutely amazing in the snow!)

Anyway, after you go down the driveway of trees, you will see a big beautiful house (which you guess) is called Broyle Place! And all I can say is that the house and the grounds are absolutely breath taking!

Behind the House there is a big Marquee which is also where they hold many of their weddings! In there is the disco and the food, but today it was full of tables and people showing of their beautiful work! Also, inside the Marquee are fairy lights, and big balloons, they are absolutely perfect for Instagram!

Anyway, since it was quite a formal day, I decided to wear a Burgundy Top from Select and a Burgundy dog tooth patterned skirt form TopShop! I also paired it with my black Chelsea boots from Select as I feel it works really well with the burgundy! Also, there are very, very comfy!

Favourite Autumn Make Up Picks

So, since it is now Autumn, which is very exiting! We can now have the excuse to wear knitted jumpers, and dig out all of out favourite essentials!

So, in today's blog post I thought that I would share with you my top four favourite make items, that are amazing for fall, or if your like me anytime of the year!

These products range from eyes to lips, which I feel are the most amazing things to focus on when basing your make up around Autumn!

My first favourite make up item, is the, Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes Pallet!
This pallet is absolutely beautiful, which is amazing because the pallet literally only has three shades which all are absolutely perfect for the fall. They are quite dark, but also have a glisten to them! Also, one of the big things that I do love about this pallet is that it has a concealer, which can literally just be used as primer, and it always manages to keep any eye shadow from any palette to stay on all day. And I mean all day!

The next make up item I would love to mention is the Benefit Rollerlash Mascara! Lot's and lot's of other Bloggers/You Tubers absolutely rave about this product, and I can see why! I have been wanting this mascara for ages now but haven't actually got round to buying it! Until yesterday! And all I can say is that I'm in love with it! It literally makes your lashes so full, but so flattering at the same time! And the best part is, is that it doesn't makes your lashes clumpy, which is something that I absolutely hate! And the packaging is just gorgeous! The pink and the black work so beautiful together, and it just looks vintage, which is what I love most!
It is well worth the money!

Lastly, the last two things I want to mention are the NYX Lingerie Matte Liquid Lipsticks! If you have read my previous blog posts then you will know that I now have a NYX make up counter in my Boots store. Which makes me very happy, as before I had to travel to Brighton just to have a look at this particular brand!
Anyway, I currently own two of these lipsticks, which are in the shades, Bed Time Flirt and Corset! And I really want more, I also own mini gloss and a matte from NYX and all I can say is that every product I have brought from NYX are amazing! They are so reasonably priced and the products are so high quality!
Especially, the Matte Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks which are just the best things ever, as they last a long, long time and aren't super drying like some others are!

An Evening At Ashdown Park Hotel

Crop Top - TopShop
Skirt - H&M
Chelsea Boots - Select
Bow Hairband - Cath Kidston

So, because my Dad is a Professional Wedding Photographer we thought that we would take part in the Ashdown Park Wedding Fayre Show! The show started at 5pm on Friday and finished at 9pm. So we were luckily enough to be able to see the hotel at night!

If you have ever been to Ashdown or live near the area then you will know that it is well known for it's cathedral and organ which it situated on the top floor! You will also know that it is well known for the home of many deers! Which if your lucky you will often find roaming around the outside grounds of the hotel and in the forest! Due to my Dad's job I am sometimes lucky enough to be able to see all of these beautiful hotels like this and the Grand Hotel and since I was going I thought it would be only right to take my camera!

So, since this was the case, I managed to capture some amazing pictures of the hotel and of my outfit! As you can see my outfit is quite summery and sort of vintage looking! I recently brought this skirt from H&M in Brighton and I'm in love with it! This pink saude skirt and my Demin Skirt from New Look are my top two favourite skirts ever!

I also paired it with my Chelsea Boots from Select as I feel it completes the outfit, and gives it a bit of an edge. And I use my Cath Kidston bow hairband as just an accessory!

Malteser Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ok, so if you have been reading my blog since the very beginning you will know that one of my first recipes was a chocolate cake! Well since then I have been using the Tanya Burr Sunday Cake recipe in order to make my chocolate cakes, and all I have to say is that it is absolutely gorgeous!

And to make it even better I have added my own semi twist by adding chocolate chips and Maltese's to it!

Let's Do This!

Prep Time; 10 minutes                               Difficultly; Easy Peasy!

Cook Time; 18- 20 minutes

You Will Need!

170g Butter. Softened
170g Cater Sugar
3 Eggs
140g Self- Raising Flour, sifted
30g Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder

For the Butter Icing;

90g Butter, Softened
170g Icing Sugar
Cocoa Powder To Taste!

Maltesers and Chocolate Chips To Decorate!
Feel free to go crazy on the decorations!

First, pre heat the oven to 180 and line two 2 x 21 round loose bottom cake tins.

Next, Cream the butter and sugar until creamy and much paler in colour!

Add the eggs and combine, then add the sifter flour, cocoa powder and baking paper and mix well together!

Divide the batter into the two cake tines, the cake batter may look shallow but it will rise into two beautiful cakes! You will then want to place the cakes into the oven for 18- 20 minutes!

Allow to cool and prepare the icing!

For the icing you will need to cream the butter, so that it is smooth and creamy, then add the icing sugar and mix until fully incorporated!

When the cake it cool, and it must be fully cool, you can now spread the icing on the two sponges and then sandwich together!

Now spread icing all over the sides and the top of the cake, and now you can decorate it with your favourite sweets!

A Walk In Eastbourne

So since it was a beautiful day we thought that we would take my Dog Beryl down to the beach. If you live, or visit Eastbourne, then you will know that the main feature of it is the pier! And so, we thought that it was only right to walk down the pier and get some Fish & Chips! Which were indeed amazing!

We also walked to the Wish Tower. Which again you will know if you are familiar with Eastbourne! And watched the world go by! Which indeed is one of m favourites things to do, if I have nothing planned!
